This CLE webinar will explore the evolving and complex privacy, legal, and regulatory framework surrounding advertising technology (AdTech). The panel will also provide steps for advising clients on assessing and mitigating privacy risks when using AdTech tools or when negotiating agreements for AdTech services.

Description

AdTech is a term used to describe tools and services used by publishers, advertisers, and their agencies to optimize ad campaigns. As the capabilities of AdTech have evolved, including through AI and advancements in audience creation, targeting, and measurement, challenges concerning a wide variety of privacy, legal, and regulatory issues have also grown.

This has been coupled with an increase in data privacy class actions and regulatory inquiries and enforcements relating to AdTech. To continue moving forward, companies must find ways to remain compliant with the evolving legal and regulatory framework and mitigate their risks.

Listen as our expert panel provides an overview of the different advertising technologies and their legal implications and provides guidance for advising clients on maintaining compliant advertising strategies and systems.
